NorthStar Communications Group Achieves ISO 9001:2000 and TL 9000 Certification in Hayward, California, Sparks, Nevada, and Reynoldsburg, Ohio

For Immediate Release.  February 16, 2007, Birmingham, Alabama:  NorthStar Communications Group (NorthStar) today announced that its Hayward, California, facility has achieved ISO 9001:2000 and TL 9000 certification.  In addition, NorthStar's facilities in Sparks, Nevada, and Reynoldsburg, Ohio, (both already ISO 9001:2000 certified) have achieved TL 9000 certification.  These certifications are based on extensive quality system audits by KEMA Registered Quality, a third party registrar.

ISO 9000 is a set of standards recognized internationally as a sign of quality assurance, with ISO 9001 representing the most comprehensive standard in the series.  TL 9000 is the internationally recognized standard for quality management in the telecommunications industry.  Achieving ISO 9000 compliance is the base requirement for TL 9000 certification.

NorthStar is now both ISO 9001:2000 and TL 9000 certified in its Birmingham Alabama; Morrisville, North Carolina; Hayward, California; Sparks, Nevada; and Reynoldsburg, Ohio, facilities.  "This certification demonstrates NorthStar's commitment to meeting our customers' quality management system requirements," said Bill Johnson, NorthStar president and CEO.  "We will continue to pursue company-wide ISO 9001:2000 and TL 9000 certification.  Exceeding customer expectations through superior performance, quality and continuous improvement are central to NorthStar's culture."
