NorthStar Communications Group and GNSS-secure sign MOU to Deliver Digital Encryption Solutions

For Immediate Release.  March 4, 2002, Birmingham, Alabama:  NorthStar Communications Group (NorthStar) and Los Angeles/London-based GNSS-secure (GNSS) today announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate in pursuing digital encryption opportunities by offering a secure "point-to-point" content distribution digital rights management control network to the virtual asset market.

The NorthStar/GNSS team will initially focus on the emerging digital cinema market, providing secure high-end digital rights management and control for digital representations of films as well as the communications that govern them.  NorthStar’s suite of capabilities including turnkey, end-to-end infrastructure design, installation and maintenance services joined with the unique GNSS modular construction software, secure2use, will provide un-forgeable identities, authorizations, auditing and access control as well as fully encrypted archiving storage facilities.  NorthStar/GNSS will deliver business critical solutions cost effectively without complex development and integration issues.
