NorthStar Communications Group Selected As Finalist for Two Safety Industry Awards
For Immediate Release. June 7, 2006, Birmingham, Alabama: SafetyXChange announced that NorthStar Communications Group, Inc. (NorthStar), a leading provider of wireless and wireline network infrastructure services, is a finalist for two Saxcies Awards in its first annual international safety industry awards program. The Saxcies Awards recognize a personal and corporate commitment to workplace safety. It is the only international safety industry awards program that honors both individuals and organizations for outstanding achievement in occupational safety and health.
Based on the excellence of its health and safety program, NorthStar has been selected as a finalist in the "Safety Program of the Year" category. In addition, NorthStar's safety director, David McConnell, has been chosen as a finalist for the "Safety Hero of the Year." The winners will be announced at a special awards reception on June 13, 2006.
