NorthStar Communications Group and Wireless Network Group Sign MOU To Pursue Wireless Infrastructure Work

For Immediate Release.  October 15, 2001, Birmingham, Alabama:  NorthStar Communications Group (NorthStar) and New Jersey based Wireless Network Group (WNG) today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate in pursuing wireless opportunities by offering "End-to-End" or "Turnkey" solutions to telecom customers and network operators.

The teaming will initially focus on the upcoming rollouts in the northeast markets with the ability to expand beyond the region as market conditions warrant.

"Today's agreement formalizes a long standing working relationship we have enjoyed with WNG, which complements NorthStar's existing suite of wireless services," said Bill Johnson, president and CEO of NorthStar.  "We continue to look for partners to augment our wireless offering and look forward to making similar announcements shortly."
