NorthStar Employees Named Officers to NTSA Dallas Chapter
For Immediate Release. November 14, 2000, Birmingham, Alabama: NorthStar Communications Group, Inc. (NorthStar) and ViaTech Services, Inc. announced today the appointments of its Staffing Solutions employees as officers of the local Dallas Chapter of N T S A.
Jan Weiss, Senior Vice President, NorthStar Staffing Solutions Group, was named President of the local N T S A Dallas Chapter. As President, she presides over all meetings and has the supervision of the Chapter's affairs and business. One of her primary responsibilities is to represent the Dallas Chapter at the National N T S A Annual Meeting.
Lance Wallace, Director, Central Region, was elected as Membership Chairman/president elect. His primary responsibility includes organizing all member recruitment efforts on a local level.
Marcus Fletcher, National Direct Placement Coordinator, was selected as the Government Liaison for the Government Affairs Committee that is responsible for monitoring legal, legislative and regulatory activity on a state and local level that affects the technical temporary and contract services industry.
N T S A, the National Technical Services Association, is a non-profit organization founded in 1966. It is the only professional association dedicated to the technical staffing industry. N T S A promotes the legal, legislative, regulatory, strategic development and continuous process improvement interests of its members.
The Dallas Chapter of N T S A serves important legal, legislative, regulatory and communications functions on a grassroots level. As an organization, they build valuable public awareness by sponsoring client seminars, job fairs, community service campaigns, educational awards and campaigns by providing a local-area membership network.
NorthStar Communications Group and ViaTech Services formed NorthStar Staffing Solutions as a joint venture to add professional staffing to the broad range of communications services NorthStar offers.
